Message from
the Chairman

“In 2021 the UAE celebrated its Golden Jubilee, with the historic milestone also being an important marker for a transformational change in Dubai’s and the nation’s economy. Looking forward to the next fifty years, we are entering a new era defined by digitalisation, Artificial Intelligence, automation and hyperconnectivity – all of which impact on the nature and scope of business.
This changing landscape calls for a dedicated chamber focused on making sure that individuals and companies have the capacity to fully realise every opportunity presented to them, as well as being digitally fit to navigate the new realities of a rapidly evolving economy.
Our role is to accelerate the transformation of Dubai’s economy to one that has technology at its heart.
We aim to create the necessary framework that will enable the digital economy to grow and to cement Dubai’s position as the first choice for international digital investments and the world’s top digital talent. I am honoured to have been invited to head Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and to chart a course for the emirate’s digital economy over the next five decades and beyond.”
